Okey, we have just got this PC. Its a Lenovo ThinkCentre equipped with an AMD Phenom Quad-Core processor and an integrated ATI Radeon 3100 Graphics. 160 GB HDD and 2GB of RAM. I think is enough for now for this. Though we had surveyed different requirements for our MythTV, I guessed, I'll just keep on going with the hardware that we have.
We had had meetings with Bro Syed. He's the ISO for KICT. We want to request for specific hardware requirements for this project. Anyway, the meetings are concluded by, we will use what KICT have. No buying new things except the TV capture card (this the most essential part of our project).
So, we installed Ubuntu Jaunty to this PC as from the feedback that we got, Jaunty plays well with Myth. And no problem so far.. Hope everything will go on smoothly..
